School Athletics Day

Today we had athletics day.  We were all very excited to have our races and run as fast as we could!

The girls ran first...

Kayiz was the winner of our heat!

Next were the boys...

Monaro and Daetona won their heats!

Star Writers

Today we had two Star Writers.

Monaro and Issac O both worked hard to meet our goals.  They needed to remember to include a 'what' sentence, add some details and talk about how they felt.  

We are very proud of how much you have both improved with your writing!  Keep up the great work!

Today we had two star writers.

Both Monaro and Kasslin have worked hard with their writing.  Their goals were to write more than sentence, thinking about including 'what they wanted to tell us about',  what it looked like or what they saw and how they felt.

Room 11's Assembly

Today Room 11 led the Junior School assembly.

We used lovely clear voices and were great examples for the rest of the school.

Congratulations to Laki, Monaro and Peter who won certificates today.

We also won the certificate for the best class at assembly :)

Counting Champs

We have two new counting champs in Room 11 today.

Peter and Monaro can count all the way to 100 and then some more!

Cross Country

Today we had our school cross country.

We all went out to the field.

Then it was time for the girls race...

And then the boys...

Everybody tried their best and ran the whole course.  Well done Room 11 we are so proud of you, but especially Monaro who was 3rd!

Reading with the Red Group

'Today the red group read Late for the Race.  They were learning to use the pictures for clues to help them find more information about the story.

Isaac L moved up to the red group and he did a great job of helping us.

Computer time

Today it was our turn with the netbooks.
We choose our working buddy and learnt how to move the mouse using the mouse pad.
