Term 4 begins

Wow our holidays went fast but we are back and ready to learn, learn, learn!

It is the first week of Term 4 and we will be spending a lot of time getting ready for Prizegiving and of course all that last minute learning before we go on holiday over Christmas.

We started our term with Kiwi Can and this week we looked at honesty.  It is important to always tell the truth whereever you go.

Our Kiwi Can stars this week were Lilly and Chaise.
They showed how honest they were during the numbers game.
 Great job ladies!

We are very happy that the All Blacks have won the Rugby World Cup!
Congratulations to the All Blacks, you are fantastic role models and we are very proud of you!

Rippa Rugby Day Photos.

Here are some photos from our awesome Rippa Rugby Games

Duffy Hero

Yesterday Alison Quigan came to our school to talk to us about her job and her love of reading, writing and acting.

She gave out some Duffy books and Steven was the winner for our class.  He won the book because of all the great work he has been doing in Maths.  Congratulations Steven!

Sports Report- Australia vs Russia

On Saturday Russia played their last game against Australia.  We think it was their best game yet because they scored 22 points against Australia.

Well done Russia.  Even though you had to go home early, we know that you will be back next time and we will be cheering for you!

Rippa Rugby Day

On Thursday we had an amazing morning! Miss Breen had organised a Rippa Rugby Tournament for the Junior School.
We played as Russia and all dressed in red.

We won our game against Australia but lost against Canada who were in Pool A with us.

Our try scorers!

The good news is that Russia won the overall pool and got the title of the best cheer team.

Thank you Miss Breen for organising such a great morning for us :)  We can't wait for our next event!
