Kiwi Can

Heseti and Kyle led the warm up

This week we learnt to be proud of ourselves when we try something new even if we don't get it the first time.  The more we try the better we will be.
We learned the Kiwi Can Break down and even Mrs Nathan had trouble!  Zachariah and Annabel were brave enough to try it in front of everyone.  Great job guys!

We played a humming game, boys against girls and ... the boys won.  Well done boys you were great hummers!

The Fun Bus

Room 10's Cake

We read the Kings Cake and made our story.

In the King's Cake no-one in the King's palace was able to blow out the candles on the cake.
Room 10 said "Stop!  You haven't got enough puff. I will blow the candles out!"

Here are some of the photos

How many oranges does Mrs Dawson have in all the jars on her desk?

Kiwi Can

In Kiwi Can this week we have been learning about confidence.  We all took turns talking front of the class.  Kiwi Can says "don't be shy, give it a try".

Happy Birthday Michael

On Friday it was Michael's birthday as well.  Thank you for the cake and lollys :)

Making Playdough

On Friday we made some new playdough.  It was a really easy recipe!
1 1/2 cups of salt
3 cups of flour
6 tablespoons of cream of Tartar
3 cups of hot water
3 tablespoons of oil
a couple of drops of food colouring  and mix it all together until it is all stuck together.

We can't wait to play with it on Monday!
